When you request an invite or contact us: your name, email, and message. When you use the app: your briefs, the ideas generated in your sessions, items you keep, feedback you give, and usage data (credits used, feature activity). Standard analytics collect anonymous page-view data.
To run the product: generating responses to your briefs, saving your sessions, metering credits, and improving the product's quality. Feedback you submit (thumbs up/down and reasons) is used to tune how the system responds. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing.
Briefs are processed by Anthropic's API to generate responses. Under the API terms we operate on, your briefs and outputs are not used to train Anthropic's models. Your briefs are never used to train models by us, never shown to other users, and never published. Treat this as a professional tool: your clients' confidential material stays yours.
Data is stored with Supabase (database) and Vercel (hosting), currently in US regions, protected by access controls and encryption in transit.
We keep your account data while your account is active. Email hello@thefirstidea.com to request export or deletion of your data and we'll complete it within 30 days.
